About us
The JenliSisters is a harp and violin duo. Both of the sisters, Héloïse (harp) and Mathilde (violin), are professional musicians, both of whom graduated with Masters Degrees (with distinction) from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels.
The JenliSisters have performed in numerous international and national festivals, such as the Wallonia Music Festival, Musiq'3 Festival, and the East-West International Festival of Chamber Music.
While from a classical music background, they constantly seek to present innovative musical journeys through their concerts, exploring repertoire from the Baroque to the contemporary.
Based in Ireland, they have both studied Irish traditional music in formal and informal settings. Mathilde has graduated with a Master of Music degree in Irish Traditional Music from DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama in Dublin. They create their own arrangements of traditional tunes by mixing them with jazz and contemporary musical influences.
In their constant pursuit to explore musical sound and expression, the JenliSisters work with their brother Armand, producer, on mixing the harp and violin with their own electro creations composed together. With creative use of twentieth-century media technology, such as video and electro soundtracks, they have set out to bring their playing to wider audiences.
